The CAMPUS Research and Development Center
Objective: Conduct research and advance knowledge mobilization (KM) to establish connections between research, policy, and practice, bridging the gap between knowledge and implementation.
The CAMPUS R&D (CRD) center will focus on building bridges between theory and practice. Its research will be theory-based, empirically driven, and application-oriented. It will provide the basis for policy formation and implementation of The CAMPUS Institute. The center will strive to achieve an equal sharing of knowledge and skills between the academic community and refugee professional communities.
The CRD will utilize research to sustain every refugee’s dignity and promote better assimilation in their host countries or back in their home countries. It will function as a meeting place for all stakeholders interested in developing knowledge, policy, and practice related to refugees and sharing and exchanging ideas with each other and with refugee community leaders and members.
